Cleveland kidnapping survivor Michelle Knight tells Dr. Phil in an exclusive interview that monster Ariel Castro tied her up 'like a fish' with an extension cord and hung her up on the wall for days.
'I was tied up like a fish, an ornament on the wall,' she says in a clip of the interview that aired Monday on the 'Today' show. 'That's the only way I can describe it.'

As a result of the endless torture, Knight told Dr. Phil McGraw she still has nerve damage in her hands and feet. Castro also chained Knight to a pole in the basement and strapped down a full motorcycle helmet over her head, she says.
'When you listen to her describe the horrible living conditions and how she was treated, you wonder how anyone lasted a day let alone more than a decade,' McGraw told the Plain Dealer of Cleveland.

Earlier this year Castro committed suicide in prison after he was sentenced to life plus 1,000 years for kidnapping Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus.

Castro raped and tortured the three women for a decade before they were rescued earlier this year.
Knight was just 20 when Castro abducted her in August of 2002. Castro impregnated her five times only to slug her in the stomach each time to cause miscarriages.

Knight, the oldest of the three victims, also spoke at Castro's sentencing, saying: 'You took 11 years of my life away and I have got it back. I spent 11 years in hell and now your hell is just beginning.'
The taped interview with Knight will be aired on 'Dr. Phil' Tuesday and Wednesday.
