Seven people shot in East Oakland: report

Seven people have been shot in Oakland on Monday, police say.

Seven people have been reported shot and injured near an intersection in East Oakland.

The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. Monday, a police dispatcher told the Daily News, near 96th Ave. and Olive St. in the northern California city.

No information on the condition of the victims was immediately available. Police tell the San Francisco Chronicle the suspect remains at large.
