Indian plane catches fire upon landing in Nepal; all on board safe

An Indigo airplane flying on Saturday from New Delhi to Kathmandu caught fire upon landing, local media reported.


The incident occurred in one of the back wheels of the Air Indigo Airbus 320, according to Avenues Television. All on board the 180 seat plane are reported safe.


The Civil Aviation Authority said it will release a statement after holding an emergency meeting.
