A section of Route 3 south in Duxbury has been closed after a funeral procession was fired upon, leaving a man wounded and a manhunt is underway for a suspect, authorities said.
The shooting occurred shortly before noon on Route 3 southbound near Exit 10 as the procession was heading to a Plymouth church, officials said.

The Duxbury fire department said in a tweet that a man was taken to South Shore Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The condition of the victim is not known.
No other information on the incident has been released.
Authorities said the section of Route 3 will be closed while police conduct their investigation of the shooting.
