Auburn stuns Alabama with last

It was an Iron Bowl for the ages and no one could have predicted the ending.

Alabama redshirt freshman kicker Adam Griffith missed a 56-yard yard field goal with one second remaining and Auburn cornerback Chris Davis returned it over 100 yards for a game-winning touchdown.

After going 3-9 in 2012 and making one of the most remarkable comebacks in 2013, No. 4 Auburn knocked off No. 1 Alabama 34-28 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. It was Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron's first road loss ever as a starter.

And now Auburn, not Alabama will go to Atlanta next Saturday and play for the SEC title.

With the game tied 28-28 and just seconds left on the clock, running back T.J. Yeldon ran 24 yards to the Auburn-38. Officials initially ruled it end of regulation and were ready for overtime. But after further review, one second was put back on the clock. This was enough time for Nick Saban to decide that starting kicker Cade Foster, who missed three field goal attempts earlier in the game, would not kick, and Griffith would. He came up short and seconds later Davis was in the end zone and Tigers fans were rushing the field.

This was the general Alabama fan reactions.
