Deputies in Oklahoma are investigating a bizarre death. The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office said a man killed his stepfather by giving him an 'atomic wedgie'.'Nobody that I've had contact with has seen anything like this before,' said Lt. Jimmy Brewer with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office.Deputies say Brad Davis, 33, admitted to pulling Denver St. Clair's underwear over his back and over his head and face. Deputies said the elastic band from St. Clair's elastic band wrapped around his neck.'The Asphyxia we believe, is coming from the atomic wedgie, where the gentleman pulled his underwear up over his head.' Lt. Brewer told WKTV.Davis called 911 when St. Clair stopped breathing. Deputies said Davis and St. Clair were fighting before the incident happened. 'It turned violent.'WKTV reported court papers show Davis planned on assaulting his stepfather, but didn't intend to kill him.Davis is being held without bond. Formal charges are expected to be filed against Davis during a court hearing on January 22.The medical examiner ruled St. Clair died of blunt force trauma and/or asphyxiation.
