A group of friends, including several college students and Brickell-area workers, were heading back from a trip to a sand bar when the boat starting leaning forward, taking on water from an apparent hole, according to a person on the boat who declined to be named.

The group had hired the private boat for the day. The Coast Guard, along with nearby boaters, rushed to help pull people from the bay.

One person was transported with minor injuries, according to CBS-4.

Once on land, the bathing suit-clad partygoers appeared to be in good spirits, with one attendee sporting a green children's inner tube.
