Texas Senator Ted Cruz has been in Iowa this weekend, and today he is addressing the 6th annual Defenders of Freedom even hosted by Iowa Republican Congressman Steve King. Cruz spoke on Friday night as the keynote speaker for the Iowa GOP's annual Ronald Reagan Dinner.
Previous high-profile Republicans at the Defenders of Freedom event include Chris Christie and Michele Bachmann.
