Two days after authorities caught Jesse Matthew, Hannah Graham is still missing

BOLIVAR PENINSULA - Two days after Jesse Matthew's arrest made waves on Bolivar Peninsula, his extradition left questions.

Two days after authorities caught the Virginia fugitive camping on a nearby beach, Hannah Graham, the girl Matthew is accused of abducting, is still missing.

A woman, who identified herself as Karen, was the one who identified Matthew. On Wednesday, she was wave watching with her dog when Matthew's light blue Nissan pulled up and stopped suddenly.

'I was very scared, very, very (scared),' Karen said. 'His windows were down. He leaned over his console and stuck his head like really close to the passenger seat window and looked right at me for a long time.'

Karen recognized Matthew from mug shots shown on TV. She called CrimeStoppers and Galveston County deputies. Soon, officers had the wanted man in custody. However, they have not yet found Graham. That makes some wonder what's next.

Eight times a year, Rick Crawford and girlfriend Suzanne Dunn reel in big ones in Gilchrist. However, on Friday, they were just reeling.

'Maybe (authorities) will find her and give her parents closure,' Dunn said. 'Hopefully they do. I keep my prayers with them all the time.'
