After the Dallas Cowboys season was saved by a combination of Tony Romo heroics and the Washington Redskins being whatever the opposite of heroic is, Fox cameras cut to Jason Garrett jogging to midfield for the postgame handshake. Right before the camera cut away, Garrett was seen harshly shoving an approaching gentleman, doing so with a serious look on his face. The pushed man looks surprised by the contact.
Twitter blew up with theories about why a coach who may have just saved his job (for another week, at least) would be angry after a huge victory. (Maybe he thought it was Terry Bradshaw?) Also, who was the man on the receiving end of his anger and what, if anything, had he done to deserve it?
The actual story is far less interesting than the speculation, as Occam's Razor held true: The most likely explanation was correct. The shove wasn't out of malice, it was out of fun.
The video of Garrett 'shoving #Redskins security' is actually playful wrasslin w #cowboys Director of Security Larry Wansley.
