WATCH: Jimmy Fallon Takes Polar Plunge in Lake Michigan, Is Now Very Cold

On Sunday, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon took the Polar Plunge - the yearly excursion into the slightly-chilled waters of Lake Michigan, benefiting the Special Olympics - after a week's worth of oneupmanship between Fallon and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel.

The dare started after Fallon dared Emmanuel to host the show. Emmanuel instead challenged Fallon to take the plunge, even supplying him with a wetsuit:

Fallon crossed the icy waters Sunday morning in a suit and tie, ruining a perfectly fine pair of shoes. He looked very cold afterward:
