Eleven-year-old Caitlyn Virts and her father, Timothy Virts, have been located, Baltimore County police said in a tweet on Friday night. Police say they were found in a motel in Florence, South Carolina. Caitlyn appears to be unharmed.A tweet was sent out shortly after 10 p.m. saying, 'They found her.' A short time later, police released more details saying, 'Timothy Howard Virts and Caitlyn Marie Virts have been located. More information to follow.'An Amber Alert was issued for Caitlyn on Thursday morning after her mother, Bobbie Jo Cortez, was found dead in their Dundalk home. Baltimore County police obtained an arrest warrant on Friday morning for Timothy Virts in Cortez's death.On Friday afternoon, Baltimore County Police announced they were partnering with the FBI to conduct a nationwide search.Police say the return of Timothy Virts is pending an extradition process. Caitlyn will be returned home as soon as possible. 'Baltimore County DSS has already been put in contact with Social Services officials in South Carolina,' police said in a release.Police say they believe the expanded Amber Alerts played a major role in locating Caitlyn and Timothy.
