Senator John McCain believes President Obama is either 'in denial or overwhelmed' by the growing threat of ISIS in Iraq.
Speaking on CBS' 'Face the Nation,' the Arizona Republican insisted a detailed strategy based on a clear policy is needed in the region.
McCain says American troops should play a support role in the fight against ISIS.
McCain also suggested the Obama administration should send weapons to Kurdish fighters in Iraq and conduct airstrikes in Syria.
