On Thursday, a joint statement on behalf of the trio, was released to news3blog.blogspot.com saying: 'As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it.'

'Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family,' the statement continued.

'The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same,' it concluded.

A three-minute surveillance video reportedly taken at an elevator inside Standard Hotel in Manhattan was released by TMZ May 12.

In the video, Solange could be seen raining blows on her brother-in-law Jay Z, while his wife and Solange's sister Beyonce, stood by noticeably impassive. A body guard reportedly appeared to intervene and attempted to contain the situation by pressing what seemed to be an emergency button.

The hotel employee said to have leaked the security footage has been fired, CNN has learned.

Since the incident, fans kept on speculating what really happened etween the three. It was rumored that Solange has deleted all but one of her sister's photo in her Instagram account. Beyonce on the other hand posted a cryptic message/ prayer on her Instagram. The 'Single Ladies' singer then posted on Wednesday several shots of her and her sister together on Instagram probably declaring her loyalty to Solange. In return, the younger sister posted a Throwback Thursday shot of them on the said social media platform, according to People.

Meanwhile despite the solidarity front that Beyonce and her hip hop mogul husband displayed at the Brooklyn Nets playoff game, fans couldn't help but notice that the power house couple sported faded wedding ring tattoos, E! Online reported.
