ARLINGTON, Texas -- Connecticut appeared to be headed for a Final Four throttling.
But as quickly as they fell behind by 12 points, they were up three points on top-seeded Florida.
The seventh-seeded Huskies trailed 16-4 Saturday night in the NCAA tournament Final Four semifinal, missing easy shots and turning over the ball.
As suddenly and inexplicably as they were shaken they became solid at AT&T Stadium, taking a 25-22 lead into halftime. It was the lowest first-half score for the Gators this season as they shot only 34.8 percent.
The Huskies went on an 11-0 run to climb back into the game and finished off the first half with a 21-6 run.
What was most impressive is they found their spark without star guard Shabazz Napier's scoring. He didn't make his first field goal until about four minutes remained before halftime. He scored four points in the first half on 2 for 4 shooting.
Casey Prather led the Gators with seven points.
