A gunman opened fire inside the VA hospital in Dayton on Monday, injuring at least one person, according to police reports.
Police were searching for a suspect driving a GM truck with 'disabled vet' tags.
An officer, speaking on police scanner, said the suspect apparently 'came in looking for someone else to do harm to, didn't find him and fired at this guy.'
The officer described the injuries as non life-threatening.
Police reports say two SWAT teams in the building were going room by room to check for a potential suspect and to evacuate people.
FBI agents have also been dispatched to the scene.
