Nine aerial performers were injured when a platform fell Sunday afternoon during a circus show in Providence.
NECN reported the incident happened during the hire wire act when it snapped, leaving six critically injured and three others with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Providence police chief told the television station that all the victims, who fell 30 feet, are expected to survive and are at Rhode Island Hospital.
