After the NBA decided on t

he banishment of the LA Clippers' owner Donald Sterling, a new chief executive officer is scheduled to be selected by the league office.

Andy Roeser, the team's president, has been the one calling the shots since Sterling got banned for life. However, according to sources from ESPN, Roeser will also be replaced, and it is said that it would happen because Roeser's prior statements gave the impression that he was on Sterling's side. The CEO replacing them will decide whether the Roeser will remain in the organization or not.

The appointing of a new CEO was supported by Shelly Sterling, wife to Donald Sterling, and according to her, 'I spoke with Commissioner Adam Silver this week to tell him that I fully supported his recent swift and decisive action. We also agreed at that time that, as a next step, both the league and the team should work together to find some fresh, accomplished executive leadership for the Clippers. I welcome his active involvement in the search for a person of the utmost character, proven excellence and a commitment to promoting equality and inclusiveness.'
