Castle Rock Police are asking for the public's help as they search for two missing, endangered children.

Police said in a news release that the children were last seen with their mother on Thursday, outside their daycare provider near 5th and Gilbert streets.

Police fear the children may be in danger and are investigating a child abuse complaint. They did not specify why they think the children are endangered.

Five-year-old Lahnaiya Palmer is between 3-foot 3-inches and 3-foot 10-inches tall. She weighs between 32 pounds and 55 pounds, and has black collar-length hair and brown eyes.

Two-year-old Kahvarri Shelton is between 2-feet 7-inches and 3-feet 1-inch tall. He weighs between 24 pounds and 34 pounds, and has short black (almost shaved) hair and brown eyes.

Their mother, Monisha Bush, is 30 years old and is about 5-feet 2-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. She has black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo on the right side of her upper chest.

She was last seen driving a silver Acura sedan with Colorado license plate 953 QDC.

Police said Bush has family in Denver and Aurora, but police believe she may also try to visit friends in Texas.

Anyone who knows anything about the whereabouts of Bush and her children should call 303-663-6100.
