Two Amish sisters were abducted while they waited on a customer at the family food stand in upstate New York, authorities said.

An Amber Alert was issued for the two girls, ages 6 and 12, who vanished after a witness said a small, white 4-door sedan drove up to the roadside stand and its passenger got out and threw 'something in back,' state authorities said.

Both girls were wearing dark blue dresses with blue aprons and black bonnets.

Fannie Miller, 12, has brown eyes and brown hair and stands 5 feet high. She weighs 90 pounds and is cross-eyed.

Delia Miller, 6, has brown eyes and brown hair and is 4 feet high. She weighs 50 pounds and has a circular scar on her forehead is missing her front teeth.

Because the Amish shun technology, police had no photographs to show the public.

The girls were taken about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the town of Oswegatchie in St. Lawrence County.
