On Saturday, hundreds of people in Brooklyn marched for changes to the law and increased gun control.

The march was organized by the non profit organization formed after the Sandy Hook shootings in 2013, Moms Demanding Action for Gun Sense in America. Members of the organization were joined by concerned parents and citizens who say they are tired of the gun violence in New York and across the country.

Marchers also marched in favor of a campaign called Gun Sense Voter, which aims to get a 1,000,000 Americans to support gun control reform.

The group marched across the Brooklyn bridge, waving signs and chanting . Organizers claim that too many innocent people have been the victims of gun violence. The march ended at city hall, where several people spoke about the impact gun violence has had on their lives.
