Problem-causing winter weather could move into the Atlanta area late Monday night - with more expected Tuesday night and Wednesday. Officials say they will not be caught off guard.

Gov. Nathan Deal has scheduled a press conference for noon Monday to discuss preparations. The Georgia Department of Transportation has moved crews and equipment from south Georgia to the metro Atlanta area. There is also a new effort to enforce tractor trailer rules that require snow chains and that trucks avoid interstates within the city if not making a delivery, reports Atlanta Business Chronicle broadcast partner WXIA-TV.
